Assistant Lyon County Attorney

The Lyon County Attorney's Office has an immediate opening for an Assistant County Attorney. Prior experience is preferred but not required. We are seeking an attorey who is organized, detail oriented, and willing to be a team player.

Must be a graduate of an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas. This position will be responsible for the prosecution of a wide variety of cases, including traffic, misdemeanor, and felony cases from charging through sentencing and appeal. The opportunity for immediate high level felony trial work is available to qualified applicants.

The salary range is $85,000 - $105,000 and is dependent upon experience and qualificiations. Benefit package, including KPERS, health, dental, vision and life insurance, and paid vacation and sick leave, is provided through Lyon County.
